Ornate French Louis XV-style marble fireplace surround. Beneath the moulded shelf the serpentine frieze and end-blocks are generously carved with floral motifs, foliate flourishes, a decorative shell cartouche, and the scrolled angular jambs reveal a set of large acanthus leaves.
