Magnificent French Louis XIV-style marble fireplace with moulded breakfront shelf. A large foliated cartouche with trailing floral carvings and beading sits at the centre of the frieze. It is flanked by scrolled acanthine brackets and, below, two tapered console jambs with exquisite palmettes and flowers supporting the substantial frieze.
